We are looking for an experienced and visionary Lead UX/UI Designer who thrives on complexity and impact — someone ready to lead design excellence for the financial sector across the EU, Poland and occasionally the GCC. At Efigence, you will play a key role in shaping cutting-edge digital products and omnichannel banking experiences for leading financial institutions — from retail and SME to investments and wealth management.
Your Responsibilities:
- Define and own the holistic design vision for financial products — from research and ideation to delivery
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX/UI designers, ensuring alignment with product strategy, client goals, and business KPIs
- Collaborate with strategy, data, and technology teams to translate business goals into user-centered experiences
- Conduct and facilitate client workshops to co-create innovative solutions for complex financial journeys
- Present and advocate design decisions to client stakeholders and executive teams
- Drive consistency, accessibility, and design system adoption across platforms and projects
- Support your team’s growth, performance, and craft excellence through continuous feedback and mentorship
Who Are We Looking For?
- 7+ years of UX/UI experience, including team or design practice leadership
- Proven portfolio of enterprise-scale financial projects (banking, insurance, wealth/investments)
- Strong domain expertise in financial UX— flows, compliance, and customer journeys specific to FI
- Experience in international environments and cross-cultural collaboration (EU/GCC a plus)
- A track record in building and scaling design capabilities or organizational change
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills
- Fluency in English (C1) — Polish is a strong plus
