We are supporting our client – GAP İnşaat - one of the leading general contractors – in recruiting for the position of Lead Hydrotechnical Engineer to join a nationally strategic project: the construction of the FSRU terminal, one of the key energy investments in the region, to be built in Gdańsk.

What we expect
- University degree in a technical field – preferred: coastal and marine engineering, civil engineering, or hydrotechnics.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in hydrotechnical construction projects, particularly involving steel pile driving and seabed works (e.g., dredging, backfilling, seabed profiling).
- Proven experience in direct supervision of subcontractors and execution of works on hydrotechnical facilities (quays, harbors, marinas, port basins).
- Solid understanding of Polish construction procedures, standards, and administrative/legal requirements.
- Fluent English in a professional working environment (spoken and written).
- Willingness to work on-site daily in Gdańsk.

Your tasks
- Supervision and coordination of marine and hydrotechnical works, including steel pile driving, dredging, backfilling, installation of prefabricated concrete elements, and seabed stabilization.
- Close collaboration with subcontractors and execution teams – ensuring compliance with the schedule, technical documentation, applicable standards, and legal regulations.
- Development and verification of construction methodologies, procedures, and detailed schedules for hydrotechnical works.
- Participation in investment planning, inter-discipline coordination, and support in marine operations logistics.
- Ongoing quality control and progress tracking, preparation of execution and handover documentation.
- Ensuring legal compliance with Polish construction law, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Technical problem-solving on-site and continuous support for design and engineering teams.
