Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Lead Gameplay Animator to join

the development of an exciting new IP.



You will become part of a tight-knit team that prides itself on creating complex, high-quality and believable content.

As a leader on the project, you will positively contribute to our studio — with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.



You’ll help us by...

1. Using traditional animation principles, gameplay fundamentals and motion-capture to craft high quality animations and systems.
2. Demonstrating a strong understanding of game design mechanics, 3Cs, AI behavior, narrative design, camera animation and facial animation.
3. Working with multiple disciplines and departments to achieve unified goals.
4. Actively giving input and responding well to feedback to achieve the polish level we need to deliver AAA titles.
5. Troubleshooting tool implementations and suggesting workflow improvements to increase team efficiency and creativity.

You’re awesome because you have...

1. 7+ years Professional Animation experience (or some combination of applicable training and experience).
2. 1 or more shipped AAA game title credit.
3. Expertise and Knowledge in game engines and building animation systems.
4. Experience of the motion capture process, editing and cleanup.
5. Strong animation fundamentals in human and creature movement (timing, weight, balance).
6. Ability to adapt to new tools and tech.
7. Fluency in Maya.
8. Strong problem-solving skills both technical and cross-department.
9. Ability to mentor Junior Animators.
10. Ability to think philosophically about character movement.
11. An understanding of character creation (modeling, texturing, and rigging) is a bonus.
12. Leading a content focused team in AAA games.
13. Major recognition in your field of work.
