We are seeking a Lead – Supplier Quality Assurance to drive supplier quality performance, manage non-conformances, and improve processes to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality leveraging a strong mechanical or manufacturing background.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all NCRs where the supplier is responsible for the defect, ensuring timely closure with minimal impact on KK production.
- Analyze investigation results, prepare reports, verify production material non-conformities, and supervise quality documentation (PFMEA, Control Plan, checklists).
- Create, assign, evaluate, and resolve NCRs while aligning with stakeholders to ensure an effective end-to-end NCR process.
- Govern and drive the reduction of COPQ.
- Collaborate with buyers and finance teams to drive supplier accountability and cost recovery for quality-related issues.
- Review and provide 8D analysis reports from suppliers as required.
- Continuously improve efficiency and support troubleshooting activities in close cooperation with the production team.
- Provide technical quality support for ongoing production activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings to identify and implement process improvements, leading quality initiatives to enhance performance and reduce COPQ.
- Ensure timely execution and closure of non-conformities according to defined timelines.
Our Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality, preferably as an SQA, SQD, or Quality Engineer.
- Engineering degree (mechanical or electrical) with a focus on manufacturing quality processes.
- Experience in welding, steel construction, machining, or casting is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (drawings, specifications, standards).
- Solid understanding of key problem-solving tools (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa Diagram, PDCA, A3, etc.).
- Proven capability to lead communication with supplier management and internal stakeholders to ensure effective problem resolution aligned with business needs.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with ERP systems (preferably D365).
- Proactive, flexible, and able to perform under pressure, both independently and in a team.
