Junior Risk Analyst – Investment Banking - Credit Risk Data Team at ACCA Careers

Requirements

• Previous experience in a financial institution within an investment banking environment or related sectors.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Being detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Working effectively as a team player with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrating ability to learn quickly and work on own initiative.
• Possessing basic accounting or financial analysis knowledge.
• Communicating clearly and diplomatically with clients and team members.
• Having moderate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Pursuing or having completed a Bachelors degree (can be in progress).
• Understanding programming languages like VBA, SQL, R, or Python is a plus, but not required.

Your Responsibilities

• Contact Investment Advisors, Hedge Funds, and other financial institutions to collect financial information.
• Update fund Net Asset Values, performance metrics, and key financial information in credit systems.
• Track and report progress on monthly data collection activities.
• Learn about fund performance, strategy, and asset structures.
• Support the credit team in identifying potential areas of concern.
• Participate in comprehensive on‑the‑job training programs.
