Overview
As IT Innovation Lead for Manufacturing & Quality, you will identify opportunities and innovative solutions related to manufacturing and quality. Define the scope of delivery with stakeholders and coordinate with the relevant IT and business teams to ensure delivery within the approved budget.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Managing innovation capability focused on Manufacturing and Quality.
- Development, support, maintenance and deployment of an AI-Driven Digital Quality Control platform.
- Leading a team of experts in manufacturing, quality and software.
- Acting as a Technology Evangelist by demonstrating technical possibilities to business units and identifying opportunities to deliver business value by leveraging new technologies.
- Driving technical discussions between business and technical colleagues; identifying how technology can solve business problems.
- Coordinating work with other teams and vendors to address demands.
- Creating a business and technical concept of the solution, PoC, technical analysis and supporting the estimation process, including visiting factories and other office locations.
- Proposing how solutions would scale for the future and how they should be maintained.
Your background
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT overall
- 3+ years of experience within IT relevant domains
- Education or experience in the role requirements
- Working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Good understanding of IT and OT convergence in manufacturing
- Good communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to gather requirements
- Willingness to learn and to evaluate new tools
- Fluency in written and spoken English
