International Project Manager
Your responsibilities
As an International Project Manager at Green Capital, you will serve as the technical leader driving the development of renewable energy projects from concept to Ready-to-Build (RTB) status. A solid technical and business understanding of the development process is crucial, and while international experience is a plus, we are open to candidates with local experience and a willingness to learn about new markets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
•Leading and guiding the team through all stages of project development, from greenfield to RTB, with a focus on land assessment, permitting, and technical feasibility.
•Leveraging your expertise in renewable energy (solar, wind, and energy storage) to ensure smooth project execution and overcome challenges.
•Sharing your knowledge and providing technical support to team members, empowering them to effectively manage and deliver projects in international markets.
Role Description
•Implement renewable energy (RES) projects in international markets.
•Help recruit, collaborate with, and lead a team of 5-15 technical and administrative specialists based abroad in various locations.
•Analyze the renewable energy landscape in selected international markets.
•Support business development efforts in international markets.
•Establish partnerships and foster collaboration with international stakeholders.
•Oversee RES projects from greenfield development to turnkey delivery in cooperation with foreign partners and the development office in Poland.
•Actively contribute to the growth and development of the company.
Our requirements
•Minimum 3 years of experience in RES project documentation (all stages to RTB).
•Strong knowledge of the RES industry (with a focus on large-scale PV and wind projects), and experience with hydrogen projects is a plus.
•Proficiency in English (B2+ minimum), both written and oral.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
•Entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational skills.
•Ability to work across time zones and flexibility to work outside standard hours.
Ideally, You Will Have:
•Managerial/leadership experience in project development or management.
•Experience working in or with a remote team.
•Understanding of cultural differences in international markets.
•Willingness to travel occasionally for business, including to distant locations.
•Driving License.
