Specifically, within Commercial Risk Solutions we offer risk advisory, risk transfer and structured solutions that help organisations and individuals identify, quantify and manage their risk exposure through insurance.
This role will provide the candidate an opportunity to manage the translation of business to technical requirements for a global IT applications within Commercial Risk Solutions as part of a dedicated cross-functional Agile product delivery team. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Take in business requirements management from global stakeholders, capturing and analysing to deliver user stories for engineering resources within an Agile delivery team.
- Support Product Manager on understanding and documenting as-is vs. to-be processes, and the assessment of new features or changes.
- Contributor in Agile scrum ceremonies, taking personal responsibility for backlog health alongside the PO and on behalf of the team.
- Work in partnership with engineers, testers, scrum masters and Product Manager on delivery planning, execution, rollout to production and continued global deployment.
- Key liaison with User Acceptance Testing and Training teams to ensure successful business adoption of global platform.
- Support any data migration activity and technical release activities to ensure business continuity.
- Take personal responsibility for producing documentation of high quality including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), access and training material etc.
- Help establish the Technical Analyst team, establishing standards, common ways of working and general culture of collaboration.

- 3+ years experience as a Business/Technical Analyst on similar large-scale financial services projects, preferably in insurance domain.
- Shows curiosity to listening, understand and capture as-is processes with diligence and precision.
- Experience in a range of Business Analysis outputs, following BPMN or similar, including any of business process swim-lane diagrams, use case diagrams, traceability matrices, decision trees, user journey maps and wireframes.
- Familiarity with Agile and documentation tools e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Visio.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and explain complex ideas in simple terms.
- Understanding of IT system configuration, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and business analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong documentation skills incl. both business and technical writing.
- Self-motivated and naturally curious with an interest in learning business rules and practices within financial services.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with business and technical subject matter experts.
- Flexible working across priorities with diverse teams from different countries & cultures.
- Fluent English speaker and fluent in one or more of Dutch, German, Flemish, French.
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is desirable but not essential.
