IngestOps / Junior Data Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Prepare and test data source configurations for ingestion
• Maintain and monitor already ingested sources in the production Hadoop environment
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize existing configurations
• Support automation and integration testing processes

Our requirements

• Strong experience with Unix/Linux environments
• Solid understanding of SQL and database querying
• Proficient in using git for version control
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Hands-on experience working with large datasets and data processing systems
• Practical experience configuring and maintaining data ingestion processes
• Communicative level of English (spoken and written)
• Interest in further development in Big Data and cloud technologies
• Jenkins, from the user side
• Jira, Confluence, Remedy/Helix
• Hadoop
