HRS Payroll Specialist role at Koch

Koch Business Services (KBS) is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the Payroll team at our Katowice (Poland) office.

In this role you will be working as part of our dynamic EMEA Payroll Team and as part of our Koch HR Solutions capability. You will be primarily doing and assisting the payroll process for multiple KOCH companies in Poland. You will have the chance to partner up with different teams across HR and Finance internally and with our external payroll provider.

What You Will Do

• Deliver excellent Customer Service working with the EMEA payroll team, payroll vendors, Finance and HR teams across multiple companies
• Coordination of the Poland payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll calculations in accordance with Polish employment tax compliance in cooperation with the payroll providers
• Advise and consult employees, supervisors and HR on payroll, benefits, and tax compliance issues
• Preparation of regular HR reports and analysis
• Preparation of necessary documents for GUS and PPK
• Support the Finance department from payroll perspective
• Contact person for employees and supervisors for compensation inquiries and system inquiries
• Participation in global/local projects around payroll according to business requirements
• Continuously improve payroll and employment compliance processes
• Back up and support other team members, including potential opportunities to work with other Koch companies in Poland

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Previous experiences in payroll background with a strong practical understanding of payroll calculations
• Knowledge of Time and Attendance regulations and legal requirements including working time systems
• Knowledge of Polish Social Security, employment tax and labor legislation
• Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Strong analytical aptitude. Well organized with excellent attention to details
• Good communication skills in English
• Independent and self-driven way of working
• Customer service oriented with a high sense of urgency
• Lifelong learner with intellectual curiosity

• Experience of financial processes and General Ledger mapping
• Experience of ADP/ Dayforce
