Role Description

We invite you to join our Global People Shared Services team in Gdansk, Poland, where you will play a crucial role in managing HR operations and payroll processes for dedicated markets.

Your Role

As an HR Operations & Payroll Specialist, you will ensure smooth and efficient HR operations and payroll processes within the organization. Your key responsibilities:

1. Manage HR operations and payroll for selected markets.
2. Act as HR Operations support for LEO Pharma managers and employees regarding employment matters, including payroll and time & attendance inquiries.
3. Update and maintain HR systems according to global and local processes (Hire to Retire).
4. Create contracts of employment, administer benefit enrollment, and calculate compensation, rewards, and bonuses for employees, manage employee leaves of absence and sickness.
5. Execute three phases of Payroll Runs successfully, controlled by the global Payroll Checklist.
6. Handle payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, accuracy, and deadlines.
7. Daily work with ServiceNow to monitor and resolve incoming queries from employees.
8. Foster good relationships and work on improving HR processes with stakeholders such as HRBPs, outsourced vendors, HRIS Team, Rewards Team, and Finance.
9. Analyze, define, and submit new pay components and work schedules to the HRIS Team for implementation.
10. Participate in UAT testing of new pay components, work schedules, and overall enhancements of the payroll service.

Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

1. Demonstrate an experience in HR processes and payroll processing.
2. Solid and in-depth insights into the use of HR data platforms and tools (desired 18+ months of experience).
3. Proactive and independent, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
4. Excellent use of ServiceNow HR platform.
5. Ability to work as a team player in a process-driven environment.
6. Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
7. Flexible and "can-do" attitude aligned with the LEO values.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
