Job Description

Director HR Digital Europe

Mission:

Description of the position:

Over the past period, most HR processes have been digitized in Europe. Automation technology is to some extent deployed to remove tasks from the operations teams.

The digital landscape is made of global, regional and local solutions.

The HR digital ambitions in the region are to:

  • rationalize the digital landscape, making the most of global solutions, while preserving local / regional specificities as required,
  • accelerate the HR Digital Excellence, with fully compliant, secured, cost effective solutions, and trained organizations to make the best use
  • improve the digital experience and adoption
  • experiment and deploy the technologies of the future in the HR function

Reporting to the HR Digital VP, the Director of Digital HR Europe and her/his team will be at the heart of these ambitions across all the zones in the region.

Your IMPACT:

Optimize the digital landscape:

  • Influence the digital roadmap in the region, in order to connect end to end HR Processes with the proper digital landscape, including building strong relationship with COEs, HRS Account Managers, Schneider Digital, and the HR function
  • Support /lead the deployment of new global/regional solutions, through best-in-class project management and change management practices,
  • Analyze user needs and recommend optimum approach and specifications
  • Cooperate with global teams to ensure speed to deliver needed enhancements and resolve main issues,
  • Work closely to reduce technical debt in the region

Accelerate the HR Digital Excellence:

  • Simplify the data and system architecture, by optimizing the use of integration and automation technologies, data lakes, removal of unnecessary connections, reports, extracts
  • Create a culture of data security, confidentiality, quality and accuracy, timeliness, across the HR function
  • Build, advocate, contribute (to) an effective governance with SE DIG, COEs to drive excellence in solutions
  • Define financial measure of success of digital investment, business case for new investments, ensure return on investment is monitored and delivered
  • Utilize data analytics and insights to inform HR decision making, identify trends, drive process improvements
  • Build automation use cases as needed, and ensure the proper documentation and certification as per SE requirement
  • Build, animate the community of digital regional experts
  • Lead and develop the regional HRS digital team

Improve the digital experience and adoption:

  • Establish and monitors KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the HR Digital solutions
  • Define training needs by user persona for all HR solutions, deliver trainings
  • Monitor awareness of digital solutions usage, compliance with process and instructions, to increase user proficiency with digital tools
  • Build a strong proximity with end users to collect inputs to improve the digital solutions and deliver automation as needed
  • Act as an ambassador of digital tools within and outside the HR function, in strong partnership with Account Managers
  • Support Account Managers with Management of Change
  • Contribute to strengthening the digital culture among the HR function
  • Effectively communicate HR digital strategies, initiatives to key stakeholders

Experiment and deploy new technologies:

  • Keep strong awareness and insights into new technologies and trends through internal and external source of information
  • Build clear vision for new technologies and influence the digital and functional organizations as needed
  • Build an experimentation mindset to pilot with speed
  • Partners with digital organization for deployment

Your Profile:

  • HR Acumen, ability to understand and qualify HR needs
  • Digital Acumen and curiosity, early adopter mindset
  • Financial Acumen and discipline
  • Leadership skills, including vision and strategy setting, influencing and networking, building best team, simplifying
  • Ability to understand operational challenges, persistence, follow up, with a strong commitment to operational excellence

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with impeccable customer service skills, positive attitude, and display professionally mature behavior in challenging situations; ability to communicate effectively and work with confidential and sensitive information at all levels of a large, complex organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget
  • Think critically, act fast
  • Solid work Experience in HR, in leadership position, in complex and multinational environment
  • Proven experience in leading transformational digital projects
