Hardware Engineer - Microcontrollers
Your responsibilities
- Analyse technical data or preliminary specifications that are necessary to define the Hardware architecture.
- Interact with other project team member, optical, algorithm, software and mechanical engineers to define the hardware architecture, follow the directives of the hardware process in terms of standards and design flow.
- Generate schematic entry using internal CAD tool following internal standards. Design the hardware architectures in order to meet comprehensive requirements of component selection following the internal standards and project constraints.
- Generation of prototype test and validation procedures, to verify complete requirements matching on the prototypes before release for series production.
- Creating documentation required to activate the Engineering Change Requests in adherence to Configuration Management and Change Control procedures.
Our requirements
- University Degree in Electronics Engineering field.
- 5 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer in digital and analogue electronics, 2 years’ experience with Altium Designer.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly process, EMI/EMC principles, simulation tools such as Orcad/Spice.
- Advanced command of English Language.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 and/or RTCA-DO-160 standard, knowledge of inertial sensors.

We have an opportunity for a Hardware Engineer to join us at Honeywell in Brno or Cracow. You will design and development of boards and modules for avionic and defense electronic systems. You will be part of hardware design line and working on all aspects of the design process, from concept to release for series production, including design of the electrical schematic of digital and analogue cards, PCB design, prototype test and documentation writing.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
