About us: At pawaPass, we're rethinking user verification for African citizens. While financial inclusion is crucial, we believe that true empowerment comes from market inclusion. A universally accepted, data-rich user verification system can enable Africans to fully participate in global markets - across employment, commerce, travel, and beyond. After all, what's the value of a verified passport if it doesn't open doors? Our long-term vision is to enable Africans to accumulate a wide range of verified data points, improving their access to products, services, and opportunities worldwide. Our technology team, based in Poland, is currently seeking a Fullstack Developer to contribute to the Locker Room Bonus - a robust, user-friendly platform for verifying and managing African football players, their bonuses, and the leagues they participate in. The project focuses on building an integrated management panel and lightweight portals for players, league managers, and teams, with seamless API integrations and a user-friendly experience. Explore the qualifications we're seeking and the exciting challenges that await you Responsibilities: Continue developing the existing platform, built in low-code tool for creating admin panels - Retool, with a gradual migration to React Admin for managing football players, verifying their identities, and handling bonus payouts, leagues, and matches. Help oversee the Locker Room Bonus campaign, including tracking and managing payouts and ensuring seamless data collection from team managers. Improve existing pawaPass integration and assist in transitioning to the latest version of the API, leveraging new biometric verification features. Develop lightweight portals using Next.Js and TypeScript to provide players with information on bonuses, matches, and allow for self-verification. Implement and maintain pawaPay integration for secure payment processing within African markets. Tech Stack: Frontend: Next.Js, TypeScript, Retool to React Admin migration Backend: Node.Js, Express.Js, TypeScript API & Integrations: pawaPass (biometric verification), pawaPay (payment processing) Database: Postgres with Prisma ORM Requirements: Experience in building admin panels in any JS-based technology. React Admin experience is nice to have, but not mandatory. Experience in building backends in Node.Js with any framework (e.G., Express.Js, Fastify etc.), Nest.Js is a strong plus. Experience with API integrations, especially with biometric verification systems like pawaPass and payment gateways like pawaPay. Experience with Next.Js and familiarity with TypeScript. Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). Familiarity with working in the African market or with African-focused technologies is a plus. What we offer: The opportunity to work on a groundbreaking project that will have a significant impact on sports and player management across Africa. Be part of a core multinational team and work in a flat-structured environment, with a wide range of ownership in a startup setting. Hybrid work with 2-3 days per week in the office located in Wrocław city center. Permanent full-time cooperation on a B2B contract. 20 days off and paid sick leave. MacBook Pro M3. Apart from developing great projects, we love to have fun, which is why we have a tradition of team-building parties twice a year, along with additional team gatherings throughout the year. We offer a concise recruitment process consisting of an HR interview and a technical stage. Excited about this opportunity? Let's talk about the possibility of creating the best software and amazing products for Africa together
