Purpose of the Role:

The Credit Risk Management Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technological solutions that support the management, monitoring, and reporting of risk in the commercial real estate lending portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Process Design and Implementation: Create efficient data processing (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows essential for risk analysis and management.
• Full Stack Application Development: Develop applications using Java (backend) and React (frontend) to support risk management operations.
• Database Management: Maintain and optimize databases (Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, Snowflake) to ensure fast data access and security.
• Data Modeling: Convert business concepts into data models using specialized modeling languages.
• Code Debugging and Optimization: Analyze and improve existing code to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Training and Development: Participate in training programs on new technologies and tools, including Slang Infrastructure and Alloy, for personal and professional development.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a strong emphasis on ETL processes and system integration.
• Technologies: Advanced knowledge of Java, React, and database technologies such as Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, and Snowflake.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to transform complex business requirements into effective technological solutions.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and present complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Programming Languages: Knowledge of Slang Infrastructure and Alloy is a plus.
