Responsibilities
- Act as the interface between the Controlling department’s requirements and IT (especially in the SAP environment).
- Bridge the gap between Controlling and IT, representing the business unit’s interests; translate ideas and requirements into technical implementation as a Demand Manager.
- Provide data from the ERP source system into an integration environment (automation and regular delivery from SAP source systems and XLS files into the Controlling database – Planning Analytics/TM1).
- Lay the foundation for the implementation of a regional Reporting and Analytics Center of Excellence (RACE).
Profile
- Degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on Controlling or Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Extensive experience with Excel and SAP BW/CO/FI; knowledge of SAP ECC/HANA.
- Experience with databases (TM1 / Planning Analytics, SQL) or other analysis and evaluation tools (Analysis for Office, Planning Analytics for Excel, Cognos, VBA).
- Initial experience with ETL processes and ODBC interfaces.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German is an advantage.
- Resilient, assertive, and structured in working style.
- Desirable: initial experience in AI, big data / advanced analytics / predictive analysis (R, Python, KNIME, etc.) and knowledge of the Apliqo tool.
