Financial Controller, Warsaw

Your new role

As our new Financial Controller, you will be an integral part of an expanding 8-person Finance Team, supporting Polish companies and project teams. You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with local authorities, managing tax and local GAAP reporting, coordinating with external tax advisors, and driving process improvements. You will also lead local reporting initiatives and optimize financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage period-end closing tasks and prepare both internal and external financial reports
• Provide controlling support, review bookings for Polish entities, and ensure financial accuracy
• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated Group financial reports
• Oversee tax and local GAAP reporting in close coordination with external advisors
• Ensure compliance with local regulations for Polish entities
• Lead process optimization and automation initiatives within the finance department
• Develop and implement Due Diligence processes

To succeed in the role, we imagine you have

• A degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in auditing, controlling, or a similar finance role
• A passion for continuous improvement, IT, and problem-solving, thriving in an international, fast-paced environment
• In-depth knowledge of controlling, tax (TAX/VAT), and Polish compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to see both the big picture and dive into the details
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Navision Dynamics/Business Central, ERP systems, and HFM/OneStream is a plus
• Full professional proficiency in both English and Polish
