General Ledger Accountant (Reporting team)
Location: Cracow, Małopolskie, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Performing monthly close procedures - journal entries, recons and reporting to corporate.
- Assist with the annual Corporate audit, various statutory audits and continual Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
- Assist in identifying and documenting site accounting issues, including keeping current on technical accounting pronouncements and other guidance.
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
- Candidate will have regular opportunities to work on various projects both within and outside their assigned accounting areas, encouraging them to learn the various areas of accounting and to prepare them for future roles of increasing importance.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: 2+ years of accounting experience required, GL or AP Accounting is preferred. Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion.
- Communication Skills: Ability to interface with cross‑functional leadership to ensure proper accounting, reporting, and support to senior finance leadership.
- Management of Resources: Allocates time and resources efficiently to ensure projects are completed accurately and timely, focusing on ever‑shifting priorities; continually seeks ways to improve individual/team efficiency.
