For our client, an international organisation operating in the commercial real estate sector, we are seeking an experienced professional for the role of Finance Systems Lead.
This role focusses on the management and development of the IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) platform, ensuring financial integrity, high-quality planning models, and strong support for FP&A processes across the EMS region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the financial model structure (Chart of Accounts, hierarchies, dimensions) within Planning Analytics.
- Maintain scenario logic, version control, and forecasting assumptions
- Ensure accuracy of consolidation processes and intercompany eliminations
- Perform reconciliations between Planning Analytics and ERP / General Ledger systems
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Develop and enhance driver-based models and scenario analysis capabilities
- Oversee data integrations (including D365, Data Lake, HR, CRM systems)
- Collaborate with IT, Data, and Finance teams to ensure data quality and consistency
- Act as a Subject-Matter Expert for CFO, FP&A, and local finance teams
- Deliver user training and support the development of reporting tools
- Identify and implement continuous improvements (automation, model optimisation, new functionalities)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a multi-entity environment
- Strong background in FP&A and financial modelling
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and consolidation processes
- Professional qualification (ACC, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1
- Experience working with ERP systems (D365 Finance & Operations preferred)
- Good understanding of data integration and reconciliation processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders (CFO / Finance Directors)
- Proactive approach to change, optimisation, and transformation initiatives
