Your responsibilities

  • Statutory and Tax Reporting, Consolidation
  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across all business units
  • Prepare accurate Group financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards
  • Oversee consolidation processes, intercompany eliminations, and reporting packs
  • Ensure statutory accounts are completed, audited, and filed on time
  • Oversee tax compliance for all business units
  • Provide input into budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Liaise with third party advisors involved in the statutory and tax compliance for business units
  • Support the CFO in preparing board reports, owner updates, and financial analysis
  • Financial Controls and Compliance
  • Strengthen internal control frameworks across all finance processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Manage external and internal audit relationships
  • Monitor risk management processes
  • Cash, Working Capital and Balance Sheet Management
  • Oversee cash-flow forecasting and analysis
  • Support initiatives to improve working capital
  • Ensure strong balance sheet governance, including reconciliations and provisioning
  • Systems, Data and Process Improvement
  • The Group currently uses multiple ERP systems. Drive systems roadmap, automation initiatives and digital transformation of central functions
  • Ensure data quality, reporting consistency, and system integrity
  • Streamline reporting and automate manual processes
  • Business Partnering
  • Act as a trusted financial partner to business leaders
  • Provide clear financial guidance and challenge
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Finance Operations Leadership
  • Lead and develop the finance team
  • Standardize processes and ensure high-quality finance operations across the group
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency
  • Support oversight shared service functions where applicable

Our requirements

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, qualified accountant with a minimum 5 years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification would be an advantage)
  • Experience in financial control, consolidation and audit
  • Experience in multi entity or international group structures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • High integrity and commitment to governance and compliance
  • Adaptability and continuous learning
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Polish GAAP and the Polish tax system (incl. VAT filings)
  • Experience in ERP and accounting system implementation would be an advantage
  • Fluency in English is necessary
