The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Finance Area Lead Assets & Projects Accounting (m/f/x)*, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. As Finance Area Lead Assets you will manage and oversee all aspects of EMEA Fixed Assets ensuring accurate financial reporting, appropriate systems administration, and compliance with company policies and procedures and in line with guidance received by Global Process Lead Assets & Project Accounting. Here, you will make an impact by:
Acquisition of new Assets
Management of physical asset verification process
Maintenance of Assets tools
Transfers of assets
Disposal of assets including gain or losses
Depreciation methods and useful lives by asset category
Ensuring that the proper accounting in place according to US GAAP
Managing the Fixed asset Tagging process and Tag distribution
Reviewing, validating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in coordination with GPL (Global Process Lead)
Training activities to Finance & Non-Finance
Preparing Ad Hoc analysis for EMEA
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
5 years of Finance and/or Accounting experience
Strong technical background in fixed assets, project, and lease accounting
In-depth knowledge of US GAAP
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, and/or CPA
SAP and audit experience
Experience with systems implementation
Strong project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid communication skills
Fluent in English
Work location: Remote from Poland
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
