Your new company

You will join a global leader in water, hygiene and food safety solutions, supporting some of the worlds largest food and beverage manufacturers. In this role, you will work directly with industrial customers, helping them optimise cleaning and sanitation processes, improve food safety standards, reduce operational costs and maximise the value delivered through the companys solutions.

Your new role

As Field Service Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical expert for customers within the Food & Beverage sector. You will be responsible for delivering technical service, food safety programs, customer training and process optimisation initiatives while ensuring fulfilment of contractual commitments and identifying opportunities to grow the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver technical service and support in line with customer contracts and service level agreements
• Provide training and consultancy on food safety, cleaning and sanitation processes, chemical applications and equipment usage
• Support customers in optimising operational performance, reducing water and energy consumption and improving cleaning efficiency
• Conduct food safety assessments and implement customer-specific food safety programs
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide value-added recommendations to customers
• Support implementation and adoption of digital tools and solutions designed to improve operational performance
• Maintain and train customers on the companys equipment and digital applications
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers and commercial teams to identify business growth opportunities
• Support gross margin improvement initiatives through product standardisation and optimisation of product usage
• Execute field trials and testing of innovative products and solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and actively promote safe working practices both internally and at customer sites
• Accurately document service activities, value creation initiatives and customer interactions within internal systems
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers across the assigned territory

What youll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage manufacturing, food safety, hygiene, cleaning and sanitation, process technology or technical customer service
• Knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP principles and industrial cleaning processes
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical, consulting or service-oriented role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Commercial mindset and ability to identify opportunities for business growth
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
• Driving licence category B
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
