Our core expertise lies in designing, testing, manufacturing, installing, and operating industrial process installations, used mainly for treating sewage sludge before or after anaerobic digestion in wastewater treatment plants. The technology, known as thermal hydrolysis, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and produces renewable energy, organic fertilizers, and various soil products while destroying pathogens and other harmful substances.

About The Role

Cambi is now hiring a Field Service Engineer to strengthen our team. This role focuses on hands-on execution and coordination of service activities at customer sites, ensuring high-quality support and technical excellence across diverse European locations.

What You’ll Do

  • Primary responsibility for service assignments and site services across mainland Europe (excluding the UK & Ireland).
  • Planning and preparing installation activities.
  • Perform installation and pipework supervision.
  • Serve as Site Supervisor or Site Manager for Cambi scope of work.
  • Follow safety requirements on site, ensuring own safety.
  • Ensure that Safe Job Analysis are performed when required.

We Are Looking For Someone With The Following Qualifications

  • A certificate of Craftsmanship, Technical College, BSc within mechanical, electrical, pipe welding, or machine installation. A combination of these backgrounds is preferred.
  • Several years of relevant practical work experience is an advantage.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
  • Practical and solution-oriented, with a strong technical aptitude.
  • Creative in developing solutions, motivated by innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively during certain periods.
