We are looking for an experienced DataStage Developer to join a newly formed Scrum team dedicated to developing an innovative solution in the credit risk management domain for a bank. This initiative aims to create a group-wide platform that improves data quality and reduces manual effort through automation and the use of publicly available data. The system will serve as the primary source for credit processes, limit allocation, internal and external reporting, and customer service. The project involves various technologies, including DataStage, IBM MDM, and Java. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to a transformative solution aligned with the bank’s strategic goals while operating in an Agile environment based on the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
ETL Data Stage Developer
Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Scrum team to design, develop, and deliver components of the credit risk management solution.
- Leverage expertise in DataStage and IBM MDM to build efficient, scalable systems.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries or scripts in equivalent languages.
- Enhance data quality and automate processes using innovative technologies.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and adopt Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices where applicable.
- Ensure alignment with SAFe principles and practices within a collaborative team environment.
Our requirements
- Proven experience as a DataStage Developer.
- Proficiency in SQL or equivalent scripting languages.
- Experience working effectively in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and an understanding of Agile and Scrum values.
