This role involves technical assistance, code troubleshooting, and developer support as part of a global 24x7 support project organized in flexible shifts. Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to analyze and improve products, ensuring customer success.
We are looking for an Environments Support Engineer with JS knowledge, who will work on our project to grow. The positions are related to support, but from a development perspective, this means that we will be working with issues that other developers around the world are facing.
responsibilities :
Troubleshoot external users / developer code in order to provide effective solutions
Provide technical and developer support to customers using Firebase products, solutions and APIs (BaaS products)
Identify and document product bugs and feature requests and work with internal support teams as well as customers to implement effective solutions
Collaborate with internal support teams to enhance cloud products
Assist and guide users through public forums (third-party and Google-owned)
requirements-expected :
Ability to read and understand code, along as write code samples to reproduce customer issues
Strong knowledge of Linux and Support.Application tools
Knowledge in at least one of the following languages, at least basic: JavaScript (Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java, Python, PHP, C or Go nice to have)
Able to execute command line instructions in Unix based systems
Minimal databases experience
Experience with API development as well as creating REST and JSON APIs
Experience with systems that involves authentication and control access implementations
Strong troubleshooting skills including the ability to read and understand logs and stack traces
Strong analytical skills related to metrics and behavior
Ability to research using internal knowledge bases and public-facing documentation (Google Developers, StackOverflow, Github, etc.)
Experience with non-relational databases and configuring custom domains
A strong sense of business ownership and customer focus
Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
