PLN 18 900- 34 800 Before Tax (Long-term contract (B2B))

PLN 15 700- 28 900 Gross (Contract of employment)

• Required skills: 5 years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer/Developer and at least 2 years of experience as a Leader/Manager, excellent knowledge of Polish and English (C1+).

• Were seeking an individual eager to step into the role of Engineering Lead, overseeing a retail portfolio of our clients projects. Youll be responsible for:

• Setting the engineering strategy for the portfolio — you will be responsible for the direction we are going in.
• Proactively analyzing and improving the quality of software delivery and making sure it meets the requirements of all stakeholders involved.
• Supporting the pre-sales and proposal creation process, participating in the discovery process, overseeing and creating technical solutions that match the clients expectations.
• Setting engineering quality baselines and ensuring best practices.
• Mentoring and coaching direct reports in a group of projects, e.g., recommending techniques, approaches, and insights which are going to help them succeed in their roles.
• Staying up to date with milestones, budgets, and project challenges.
• Defining priorities among stakeholders.
• Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders on the client’s side.
• Helping people within the portfolio to achieve the client’s goals by providing a tech perspective.
• Assessing risks and preventing them proactively.

Requirements

• Have 5 years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer/Developer and at least 2 years of experience as a Leader/Manager.
• Have a good understanding of the software delivery life cycle.
• Know how to work with multiple stakeholders: technical, non-technical, clients, vendors, RnD, PMO, Discovery Team; you can manage and balance needs on both sides (internally and externally).
• Are good at working in an environment of changing priorities and complex connections.
• Know how to set and work with KPIs and how to align them with a project/team/account.
• Have great communication and explanation skills in 1:1 communication, within a team, and across teams.
• Can make swift decisions with (at times) limited context and in dynamic situations.
• Are not afraid of making mistakes, and you know how to learn from them.
• Work well under pressure and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Have a can-do attitude and are constantly looking for new solutions.
• Have excellent feedback skills.
• Have excellent planning skills; you know how to manage activities to achieve specific goals.
• Have excellent knowledge of English (C1+)

Technical Requirements

• Architectural Experience:
• Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and best practices.
• Ability to design scalable and efficient e-commerce systems.
• Frameworks and Product Solutions:
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for both enterprise and SMB 
• Knowledge of headless commerce architecture and API-first approach.
• Experience with headless CMS solutions and their integration.
• Frontend and Backend Development:
• Proficiency in backend technologies and languages (e.g. Node.js) 
• Expertise in creating and managing APIs (RESTful and GraphQL).
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks 
• Experience with integrating frontend and backend systems.
• Experience with Progressive Web Apps in e-commerce.
• Other Technical Skills:
• Practical knowledge of public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to utilize PaaS/SaaS services and DevOps tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code 
• Experience in integrating with ERP/CRM systems, online payment gateways, and logistics services.
• Knowledge of analytical tools and experience in implementing content personalization mechanisms.
