Engineering Lead

Global company from fintech industry is looking for an experienced Engineering Lead
Work is in a hybrid model in an office based in Kraków

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring quality of the solutions being developed and maintained
• Managing technical risks, and providing guidance and support to the development team 
• Supervising software developers and being entity manager for them
• Defining, building and testing technical solutions in an agile environment
• Writing infrastructure/ terraform cloud formation and CI/CD pipelines in groovy and writing unit tests in Spock, e2e tests in cucumber, contract-based tests in PACT
• Defining architecture and solutions including R&D on cloud and 3rd party vendors39 services

What you will need to succeed?:

• Very good knowledge of Java and AWS Cloud
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience in People Management and in managing and maintaining IT solutions
• Familarity with writing tests (BDD and TDD approach)
• Understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript
• Great communication skills
• Fluent English
• Nice to have: experience with iOS or Android
