Job Title: AI Engineer

Description:

1. Partner with data scientists, data managers, analysts, infrastructure engineers, and peer AI Engineers to develop, operationalize, integrate, and scale new algorithmic products.
2. Engage in proof of concepts and experiments to evaluate new models and technology.
3. Develop high quality, standard-compliant, and tested code. Refactor code of others as necessary.
4. Contribute code and tools to central re-usable libraries and repositories.
5. Develop data models, model features, data quality tests, ETL/ELT pipelines, and distributed compute architectures.
6. Deploy algorithmic products across the clouds, skillfully leveraging cloud-native services.
7. Manage and automate cloud resources (IaC).
8. Implement DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps principles in day-to-day work.
9. Develop continuous integration, delivery, and training pipelines.
10. Leverage observability and automation tools to manage operations of algorithmic products across the stack.

Job Qualifications:

1. A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
2. 2+ years of proven experience in Python & SQL , data modelling, design, development, and deployment of Data and Analytics products.
3. GCP/Azure cloud infrastructure knowledge (including load balancing, autoscaling, firewalls, authentication).
4. Experience in Agile, CI/CD , and DevOps methodologies – knowledge of using appropriate tools – e.g. Jira, GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps / Jenkins, unit testing (e.g. PyTest) & mocking, static code analysis (e.g. Sonarqube), source control management tools (e.g. GitHub).

Nice to have:

1. K8s and connected technologies (Helm, Kustomize.io, etc.) knowledge.
2. Logging and monitoring technologies knowledge (depending on the needs, from Logstash to Grafana).
3. Infrastructure build tools and languages knowledge – Terraform, Ansible.
4. Strong written and verbal communication in English.
