Electronics Technician/Technologist/Engineer (M/F/D) For the Prototyping Department (R&D Systems)

Your responsibilities

  • Assembly, testing, and commissioning of prototypes and pre-series units (assemblies and complete display devices).
  • Development, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturing documentation and process guidelines to ensure high production standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and identify potential production challenges.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for issues identified in prototypes and pre-production units.
  • Provide technical support and training to production teams during the transition from prototype to series production.

Our requirements

  • Strong professional experience in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
  • Completed training as an electronics technician/technologist, technician, engineer, or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Familiarity with soldering techniques is an advantage.
  • Experience with CAD software or tools for circuit and mechanical design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Office; experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a bonus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to addressing technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in German is advantageous.
  • Understanding of quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
