EHS Program Specialist Sub-Regional EMEA

Provide support to ensure business compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental (including product safety related) government regulations as well as Rockwell Automation procedures. Provide support to ensure safety and health of life of employees when working at our facilities, laboratories, customers locations, and travelling. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the company management system requirements supporting businesses in the region. Reporting to EHS REGIONAL MANAGER, location Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities

• Support in the implementation and maintenance of the regional environmental and safety management systems to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and company procedures.
• Participate in and assist with government agencies field visits to understand the regulations and to ensure compliance.
• Support, implement, maintain and modify Headquarters EHS field and non-operations oriented procedures to ensure compliance to the EHS permits and regulations.
• Provide technical support, input and coordination on EHS issues that affect projects and processes at the regional/country level.
• Respond to customer requests for EHS Plans such as safety manual for on-site project work and support the project implementation plan.
• Report monthly injury/illness metrics to HQ-EHS; support the business in investigation of injury and illnesses; analyze work related injury and illness data, using method like 5Why / Ishikawa / 4 cases analyze or other available tools to identify actions to prevent a recurrence of the injury/illness; and support efforts to return employees to productive work within assigned medical restrictions.
• Prepare periodical updates based on EHS reports provided by businesses into global applications and support businesses in time and quality.
• Ensure that EHS assessments, procedures, training and other control measures by regulation or Rockwell Automation policy and procedures are provided for the facilities, field and non-operations personnel.

The Essentials - You Will Have

• Masters degree in Occupational & Safety or Masters degree in Engineering and Post Graduate Studies in Occupational, Safety
• 3 years experience related to environmental, health, and safety aspects in a manufacturing or field service organization. Understand business metrics related to responsibilities for use in project planning and support of our goals.

• Work on complex issues where situation or data analysis is needed to suggest changes and determine path forward.
• Partner with business leaders across the regional boundaries to support defined goals and manage change.
• Team orientation and commitment. Contribute to team efforts by providing technical/process expertise and guidance.
