We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of European Project Management to lead our project management team across Europe.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing large-scale projects, proficient in driving change throughout an organization, possess excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive the successful delivery of projects for our clients.

This role requires a visionary leader who can manage cross-functional teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the European project management strategy in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
  2. Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  3. Lead, mentor, and manage the European project management team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  4. Be an influencer of change, building relationships and a growth mindset throughout the teams.
  5. Be a figurehead of local leadership, directly driving and implementing necessary change in process, culture and results.
  6. Ensure appropriate resource allocation and team capacity planning to meet project demands.
  7. Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  8. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  9. Act as the primary point of contact for project-related matters in Europe.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  11. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
  12. Develop and implement performance metrics to evaluate project success and team performance.
  13. Conduct regular project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  14. Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and costs are controlled.
  15. Optimize resource utilization across projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  16. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management team.
  17. Implement and leverage project management software and tools to enhance productivity and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale projects in a European context.

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Ability to travel within Europe as needed.

Strategic thinker with the ability to align project management practices with organizational goals.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

High level of cultural awareness and adaptability.

Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.

Experience and/or knowledge of QA and Gaming a plus.
