As a Content Editor you will be working with Marketing, Brand, IT & technology teams to build pages within Alcon’s Site Studio CMS system. Ensures sites and pages are built and delivered to required technical and delivery standards to meet business requirements and deadlines.
You will play a key role in the expansion of Alcon digital marketing properties and capabilities.
You will be expected to understand and adhere to Alcon digital marketing standards, including brand guides, design systems, and accessibility standards. You will be part of a small tight-knit team driving digital marketing capability forward for Alcon and providing support for marketers in 40 countries.
responsibilities :
Build and deliver websites and web pages within Alcon’s Site Studio content management system using supplied content and templates.
Leverage our content management solutions to deliver desired business outcomes on multiple channels such as web, CRM and other digital channels.
Perform audits on existing sites to ensure standards are met for: UX, accessibility, SEO, and technical excellence.
Use your familiarity with HTML and CSS to spot opportunities for improvement.
Update / amend web pages and content in line with received briefs / tickets from stakeholders. Support users of our self-service system by providing technical advice, live training, and documentation.
Work with the UX team and agency partners, using Figma, to ensure all designs and content are aligned with the technical capability of the site.
Collaborate daily with peers in every discipline, including engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science, to take products from conception to launch.
Support complex projects such as feature deployments, product launches, and global rebrands.
requirements-expected :
About 2 years of experience in website development, content management in a corporate environment, experience working in matrix / large organizations.
Fluent English.
Experience with CMS systems including Drupal 8 CMS / Acquia Site Factory / Site Studio or similar.
Experience using work management and communication tools such as JIRA, and Microsoft Suite
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and layering.
Familiarity with FIGMA.
Demonstrated understanding of fundamental SEO principles and their integration into website architecture and development.
A passion and desire to learn everything that is required to design, develop, launch, and maintain an enterprise website.
