Technologies-expected : AWS Terraform Cloud Formation React.js next.js Git Lab Snort App Sync Graph QL AWS Lambda technologies-optional : MS Active Directory Ping ID/Federate AWS Cloud Watch Splunk about-project : Digitizing and automating the R & D laboratory environment - including the associated system, data and process landscape. The fully integrated digital lab will increase lab work efficiency throughout planning and execution of experiments. A one-stop-shop enables to schedule, track and remote control lab instruments, order materials and retrieve inventory status. A high level of integration leads to automatisation and predictability of lab infrastructure & services and various aspects of lab management. Ultimately it allows scientists to put their focus on their core work. responsibilities : Responsible for the technical management of software projects / cloud-based applications (ensure successful delivery, interact with Dev Ops, Development Team, Validation Lead..etc) Interface between business and IT or development team (participate in Business Analysis, Technical PI Planning, coordinate estimations of features..etc) Interface between architecture team and development team and responsible for ensuring NFR requirements are met and documented Ensure technical designs are documented and reviewed Contribute to the technical decision-making process, considering factors such as scalability, flexibility, and reusability. Ensure Security & Compliance, quality code (Enforce Code reviews and using tools to scan the code) Responsible for Technical artifacts and documents (approving or creating) Architecture and solution documentation (e.g. C4 Model, Architecture Decision Records, Tech Design specification, Interface specifications) Collaborate with Validation lead to approve for CSV projects Develop APIs and integrate them with the data layer using technologies such as App Sync, Graph QL, and AWS Lambda functions. Work closely with the data pipelines team to ensure seamless data ingestion and processing. Experience with AWS Athena DB and Snow Flake DB is a plus. Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery and deployment. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate the release cycle and improve overall efficiency. Lead test automation initiatives across the organisation, including the development of automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines, including automated security testing and vulnerability scanning including pentests. Implement security controls and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of software deployments. Utilise Git Lab for version control, collaboration, and continuous integration. Leverage Thing Worx & Solution Central, a low-code platform, to build, deploy & manage applications efficiently. Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, leveraging platform-as-a-service (Paa S) and infrastructure-as-a-service (Iaa S) offerings. Implement cloud-native CI/CD solutions and optimise performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud-hosted applications. Implement automated monitoring solutions to detect issues and anomalies in systems and environments. Utilise monitoring tools and techniques to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system failures. Serve as the Test Manager, overseeing all aspects of test planning, execution, and reporting. Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Automate where ever possible test-cases, to perform regression testing and automate redeployment and generate health reports of a package deployed and support documentation. Utilise Mule Soft integration platform for seamless integration of applications, data, and services. Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, with particular expertise in SSO with SAML / OICD, MS Active Directory, Ping ID/Federate, to ensure secure access control and authentication mechanisms. Continuously evaluate and enhance CI/CD processes, test automation frameworks, and tooling to optimise efficiency and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. requirements-expected : Understanding of software development life cycle and SAFE methodology Understanding of agile working methods (including Dev Ops know-how / management of CI/CD pipelines, etc.) to ensure the delivery reliability and quality of the technical teams and releases. Strong stakeholder management (management/combination of different technical & cross-functional teams) including ability to interact with business stakeholders Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent problem-solving and technical skills (need to be able to do hands-on fullstack dev occasionally) Industry and regulatory know-how a strong plus Experience with the Mule Soft integration platform and Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, particularly SSO with SAML / OICD, MS Active Directory, Ping ID/Federate, is highly desirable.
