For one of our clients operating in the payment processing and cloud solutions sector, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a long-term strategic project.
Location: Warsaw (hybrid – 2–3 days per week from the office)
Employment type: B2B (IT Contracting)
Contract: 24 months with a strong possibility of extension
ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Harness across multiple environments.
- Build and optimize Jenkins Pipelines as Code using Groovy (Declarative and Scripted Pipelines).
- Develop reusable shared libraries and pipeline templates to enable self-service automation for development teams.
- Implement advanced deployment strategies, including parallel execution, matrix builds, canary releases and blue-green deployments.
- Create and maintain Bash scripts supporting build automation, deployment orchestration and operational tasks.
- Automate software delivery processes while improving deployment quality, repeatability and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and operations teams to streamline release processes and enhance deployment efficiency.
- Design and maintain Git branching strategies supporting efficient CI/CD workflows.
- Integrate automated testing, security scanning and quality gates into deployment pipelines.
- Support Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices where applicable.
- Monitor pipeline performance, investigate failures and continuously improve build stability.
- Contribute to secure CI/CD processes by implementing secrets management, access controls and security best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.
WYMAGANIA:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering or automation.Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, including:
- Pipeline as Code using Groovy
- Declarative and Scripted Pipelines
- Shared Libraries
- Plugin management and integrations
- Master/Agent configuration and scaling
- Experience with Harness or another enterprise Continuous Delivery platform.
- Advanced Bash scripting skills.
- Good knowledge of Groovy used for Jenkins automation.
- Experience working with Git and modern branching strategies.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, npm or pip.
- Understanding of automated testing integration within CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to optimize build and deployment processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Polish (minimum B2) and English (minimum C1).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with additional CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Knowledge of artifact repositories such as Nexus, Artifactory or Harbor.
- Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines (SonarQube, Snyk, Wiz).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and modern deployment patterns.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and additional scripting languages.
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. PCI DSS).
