Plan and execute migration from GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) to GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) for large enterprise environments.
Conduct risk assessments and create detailed migration plans, timelines, and strategies.
Perform migrations from multiple version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, Perforce, ClearCase, and others to GitHub SaaS.
Ensure smooth transition of code repositories, branches, histories, and pull requests without data loss.
Qualifications:
5-8+ years experienced DevOps Engineer/GitHub Administrator to work on migration from Self-hosted/on-prem Github Enterprise Server (GHES) to GitHub Enterprise cloud/SaaS (GHEC) platform
Experience with multiple migrations to GitHub SaaS from various source code management systems including Github, Gitlab, Perforce, ClearCase etc. with large enterprises
Youll work with our global team of diverse and passionate engineers and project managers to design, build and maintain GitHubs services
DevOps mindset towards creating reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions for large scale DevOps organizations
Experience with Github Action/runners, CI/CD, automation and orchestration with the GitHub API for various integrations
