Job Description

• Working on technical documentation for mechanical components for aircraft interiors: helicopter seating systems
• Participating in various phases of the design process, e.g., product implementation or ongoing production support
• Introducing and defining design changes
• Creating and modifying engineering reports
• Creating 3D models and technical drawings
• Solving design problems and implementing optimization solutions
• Standardizing work and working on improvements
• Selecting appropriate construction materials
• Close collaboration with an interdisciplinary design team and active participation in meetings with international partners

Required Qualifications

• Higher technical education (preferably in Mechanics and Machine Design or related fields)
• Minimum professional experience as a design engineer 2 years
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering and the principles of operation of technical devices
• Knowledge of mechanics and strength of materials
• Good knowledge of technological processes, e.g., machining
• Advanced English language skills – both written and spoken (minimum B2 level)
• Independent problem-solving and work organization
• Ability to adapt to a dynamically changing work environment
• Analytical skills and effective time management
• Experience with software: NX, Solid Edge, MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of PLM software, e.g., TeamCenter
• Willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace industry
• Knowledge of German would be an advantage
• Experience with technical documentation
• Experience creating parts lists
• Knowledge of Excel macros
