We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join us in our fast-paced Platform as a Service (PaaS) team within the Engineering Foundation Value Stream (VS). Engineering Foundation is an Enabler Value Stream that will enable and accelerate Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) engineering teams to develop resilient and performant applications, delivering value to the business more easily and quickly. This will be achieved through a fully managed strategic and cost optimised Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for developing and deploying applications to the cloud.

responsibilities :
Facilitate the delivery of working software from concept to live using Agile methodologies as well as help align business goals with release plans to ensure timely delivery of features.
Foster collaboration among teams and protect the team from external influences or distractions.
Working alongside Product Owners, other Scrum Masters/Delivery Managers and closely with the Delivery Lead to enable and ensure the team has all they need to deliver on time, removing impediments as you go.
Facilitate the Scrum process by arranging and leading agile ceremonies, daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, refinement sessions, discovery sessions, sprint demo and retrospectives.
Plan and schedule the delivery increment while maintaining the teams’ scrum board as well as challenge the team to improve on process and inspire them to find new better ways of working.
Help identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies.
Drive, track, and communicate the progress of sprints and releases through team velocity and burn down charts and other useful metrics.
You will be responsible for achieving targets and meeting expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same.
requirements-expected :
Strong practical experience and understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)/Agile methodologies, Scrum and Kanban.
Proven track record of successfully delivering to key objectives and deliverables, on time, to scope and within budget.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience managing global stakeholders and teams.
Experience in estimation techniques and planning for software development projects.
Experience in effectively collaborating with wider non-agile teams.
Stakeholder management with statistics around tasks, backlog tracking, and burn down metrics, velocity, and user stories etc.
Exposure and experience with the SDLC; design, coding, test, build, QA, deployment, and maintenance and with service orientated architecture.
Demonstrable ability to self-manage, be proactive, take ownership, build relationships, and drive solutions through from inception to production.
Professional experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Rally are highly beneficial.
