Being involved in product development from process governance perspective, Delivery Manager works closely with all key leadership roles to drive efficiency, strengthen and implement best practice, establish ways of working, manage the resourcing of the partnership and act as the first layer of governance structure, providing management of the scaled multi-stream engagement with the focus on business goals achievement.
We expect candidates to be located in one of the following cities: Warsaw, Wroclaw, Lodz, Gdansk or Bialystok.
Responsibilities
- Holistically coordinate the engagement consisting of several streams with attention to: Business requirements, Timelines, Dependencies & Constraints, Delivery Metrics including Visualisation/Reporting to agreed KPI’s
- Facilitate in removing cross teams/client/3rd party dependencies
- Be able to assess dev teams performance, identify gaps and form an improvements plan
- Make sure there is scope of work for all involved teams, and everyone shares the same understanding
- Facilitate prioritised roadmap creation with achievable timelines for all involved teams
- Monitor the effectiveness of the engagement structure – team size, ratio of all roles/expertise involved, adequacy of the workload and expectations
- Lead Agile Delivery Coordinators/SM’s on the engagement (if there are any) - coach and support them on the ground, empower them to do what is required, align vision
- Define success criteria for the engagement & monitor we are hitting them
- Support new teams kick off
- Act as a primary contact point for communicating with various stakeholders on the client side, be able to shape messages in a concise, but trustful manner
- Facilitate constant inspection and improvement of the WOWs, ensure the appropriate Agile delivery principles are embedded to the teams process
- Increase transparency and trust with the client
- Commitment to consider business trips to client site if required
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Delivery Manager (including experience working in scaled multi-stream projects)
- Combination of exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) and leadership skills
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills, including managing deadline-driven deliveries
- Experience in analysing clients’ SDLC landscape, constraints and expectations to be able to identify the best possible ways of working for the team and client
- Ability to understand clients business needs and keep the team focused on delivering value considering timelines, collaboration with external partners, high quality and velocity expectations and other dependencies
- Knowing and sharing Agile values and the variety of Agile frameworks
- Readiness and ability to support and coach the team in Agile ways of working
- Advanced English level
