Our Client

Our client is a leader in the SaaS industry, specializing in software solutions for insurance companies. With 20 years of experience, they offer a comprehensive software package that supports key insurance processes such as policies, claims, reinsurance, and payments. Renowned for their cutting-edge solutions, they configure and tailor products to meet specific client needs.

Currently undergoing a large technological transformation and building a competence center in Warsaw, the company is moving towards a cloud-native, multi-tenant platform to modernize its infrastructure. They are investing significantly in cloud services to create a scalable, efficient system to support ongoing growth.

Role Summary:

As a Data Warehouse Architect , you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable data architectures to support business objectives.

This role requires expertise in:

  • dbt, Fivetran, and PowerBI
  • Snowflake platform is a nice to have

along with experience in:

  • data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.

You’ll work closely with data engineers and cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into data-driven solutions to enhance decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Architecture: Develop and maintain scalable data architectures using dbt, Fivetran, and PowerBI to meet business and analytics needs.
  2. Data Pipeline Management: Design, optimize, and manage data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and high-quality data integration across systems.
  3. Collaboration and Strategy: Work with data engineers, leadership, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into effective data models and architectures.
  4. Data Innovation: Continuously monitor and evaluate new data technologies to enhance the data infrastructure, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of data innovation.
  5. Data Governance and Quality: Establish best practices for data quality and governance, ensuring data integrity across all stages of data processing.

Required Skills:

  • Data Architecture Expertise: 6+ years of experience in data architecture, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or strategic leadership role.
  • Technical Proficiency: 5+ years of hands-on experience and demonstrated expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Data Tools: Proficiency with dbt, Fivetran, PowerBI, and SQL with dbt.
  • Experience in Snowflake Data Platform is nice to have.
  • Data Governance Knowledge: Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Proven experience as a lead developer, establishing best practices and mentoring team members.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree or certifications in data management or architecture.
  • Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft suite tools (Excel).
