We are looking for a Solution Architect with a strong data architecture background who will demonstrate his/her expertise in various fields related to the analysis and design of data systems architecture. The main tasks are solutions, i.e., supporting the client and our representatives in creating data systems projects, implementing data strategies, and participating in the data maturity assessment process. From time to time there will be a need to step in as an experienced data architect for a short-term project, or an expert project to assess the client has environment, e.g. analysis of a specific architecture at a specific client.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Collaboration, discovering and understanding their needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in data maturity assessment and design a roadmap for its transformation.
- Understand existing data platforms, and data engineering processes to identify gaps and pain points and propose optimization.
- Design data solution architecture, prepare its development plan, and estimate resources.
- Implement best practices for data management, governance, security, and compliance, ensuring data availability, consistency, and integrity.
- Assist architecture and design of data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines to create various data analytics solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data integration strategies, cloud migrations, and real-time data streaming solutions.
- Participate in the preparation of technical proposals for presales and RfPs
- Recommend and implement emerging data technologies, platforms, and methodologies
If you possess..
- Professional experience: 10+ years of experience as a data solution architect including also experience in data architect role
- Long track record of collaboration with stakeholders: gathering requirements, understanding existing data ecosystem, and defining data strategy.
- Experience in supporting presales activities.
- Experience in evaluating data maturity.
- Experience in designing scalable and robust data architecture that supports current and future business needs.
- Understanding and, preferably, previous experience in modern data patterns such as data warehouse, data lake, data mesh, lakehouse, etc.
- Experience in implementing best practices for data management, governance, security, and compliance.
- Experience or deep knowledge of creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Experience or deep knowledge of developing ETL/ELT processes and respective tools to integrate data from various sources
- Good knowledge of one or more cloud data ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, GCP
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data-related challenges and optimize data architecture.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and justify design decisions.
- Willingness to travel on an occasional basis
