We are looking for a Data Scientist with at least 3 years of experience to work on a tool that allows us to extract information from documents used in the banking industry.

The team is also working on 15 different applications that use AI.

Your tasks

• Create, train, and improve information extraction models, both new and existing
• Participate in testing new extraction methods, such as comparing approaches like Donut vs Layout ML or experimenting with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Actively contribute to the enhancement and scalability of the Document Factory platform
• Work closely with the development team to integrate AI models into applications and support their functionality
• Oversee and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient processing and model performance
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for models, processes, and project developments
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and machine learning, and proactively suggest new techniques or tools that could enhance the platform

Requirements:

• Strong ability to analyze and interpret data using statistical methods
• Proficiency in advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques, specifically RNNs, LSTMs, and Transformers
• Deep knowledge of NLP and its libraries, with hands-on experience in Intelligent Document Processing platforms
• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with deploying models in production environments
• Practical experience with deploying and scaling NLP models using Kubernetes, Docker, and other cloud-native tools
• Ability to clearly articulate technical challenges and project updates to a diverse team
• Experience working in international and remote teams, with a strong sense of proactivity and autonomy
• Fluent in English, both oral and written

Nice-to-have requirements

• Willingness to engage in tasks beyond traditional data science roles, such as development in languages like Go, Java, or C++
• A proactive approach to contributing ideas that could enhance the overall functionality of the platform
