What You will be doing:

• Develop, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data platforms reliability strategies to ensure high-availability and uptime of data platforms and services.
• Lead data platform problem (incident) response efforts ensuring quick resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
• Conduct thorough post-incident reviews and implement lessons learned to prevent future occurrences. 
• Design and implement scalable solutions to handle growth in data volume and user demand.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of SRE practices, procedures, dependency mappings, and infrastructure components to include applications, automated jobs, processes, etc.
• Continuously seek and implement innovative solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain SIEM tools e.g., Splunk environments focusing on security data.
• Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts support of the Data Ops mission.

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Data Reliability, and Splunk Administration/Development within an information security context is a must.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) with a focus on security data platform automation is important.
• Experience with security monitoring and logging tools and SIEM(Splunk) systems is necessary.
• Expertise in Splunk search language (SPL) and creating advanced Splunk dashboards and reports for security use cases is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Gitlab CI) and configuration management tools is a plus.
• SIEM content development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their application in security analytics
