about-project :


  • The Data Governance SME is responsible for the development of new Data Governance materials, including policies and processes, managing the deployment and embedding of Governance materials with Global Functions and OpCo and continuously refining and updating Data Governance materials, based on business feedback and industry best practice. The role also helps support (new) projects and initiatives with Data Governance and works Data professionals (and other key stakeholders) to monitor Data Governance compliance.

responsibilities :


  • supporting completion of a specific Global Functions Data Assets: EDM, DBB target model, CBL business terms, business rules, data standards, MDM workflows, Data Quality rules, Process-Data-Tech mapping, Harmonised Datasets and KPIs
  • functional supporting applications part of the Data Management Suite, specifically the Collibra governance centre. Other Data Governance SME peers support DMS and Data Governance tools such as Mendix/HeiSoul for master data, PowerME for lineage, Ataccama/DMW for Data Quality and Data Point/One2Share for Data literacy
  • functional supporting specific Regional Data Lead and the Opcos in this region on governance capabilities. This includes functional support of project managers that implement DMS and functional Governance support in Data Management Suite Business As Usual Operating Model in which IBM is first point of contact for support.

requirements-expected :


  • University BSc/ Business Degree / Management Information Systems, or related discipline is required
  • 3-5+ years in a Data Governance related role in FMCG sector (ideally)
  • past record of successful data governance and business analysis role, data governance related projects
  • experience of working within the framework of an Enterprise Data Model
  • expertise in Data Governance materials: Policies, processes and tools
  • knowledge of data management processes and workflow, and proven experience of using tools for data profiling, discovery and assessment
  • strong project execution skills
  • ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with managers across the business
  • demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous deliverables
  • continuous and innovation improvement mindset
  • ability to see the big picture, prioritise and define / deliver realistic plans
  • excellent written and verbal English
  • ability to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders from across the organization, including OpCos, Regions and Global Functions
  • ability to fully understand HEINEKENs data assets which include our Enterprise Data Models, Business Rules & Terms, Master Data processes, Data quality rules and Data Lineage
  • ability to deliver analysis and execution that considers, and illuminates, the interaction between process, data and technology
