Data and Financial Engineering Analyst
Location: Kraków / Hybrid Work Model ( 2x week from office)

Your Role

This position is part of the Data and Financial Engineering team within the Product Control department. The team develops tools that enhance Product Control functions by delivering analytical insights and capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Implementing database changes (SQL) to support internal applications

Responding to technical user queries

Testing new system features

Rolling out applications to new locations

Developing automation solutions using Python and VBA

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain automated solutions to improve controls and analytical processes (Python/SQL/VBA)

Contribute to the development of services within the strategic Product Control infrastructure

Support the accurate and timely delivery of standardized data across Product Control teams

Collaborate with Technology teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment

Provide daily user support and help foster strong relationships between engineering and business teams

Work closely with Product Control stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements and comply with policies

Participate in the development of a Citizen Developer framework that simplifies coding and promotes reusable components

What You Need to Succeed

Solid knowledge of SQL, VBA, Jira, Git, and test-driven development

Experience in Python programming and object-oriented design; pandas library knowledge is a plus

Understanding and experience with financial data (Trades, Positions, Valuations, P&L, etc.)

Experience in microservice-driven architectures is a plus

University degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Strong analytical mindset and a proactive problem-solving attitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
