Project Overview:
The goal is to scale logging processes by normalizing raw logs into a standardized schema. This involves configuring normalization within the Azure Monitor data pipeline, identifying fields and values, and using KQL and Regex for transformations. The configurations will be applied based on sample logs and integrated directly into the pipeline.
responsibilities :
Implement log normalization using Microsoft tools.
Ensure at least 60% of security log schemas across 150 applications are normalized by the end of the year.
Conduct testing and validation of security log normalization.
Apply configurations to Azure data pipelines.
Maintain data quality and prevent data loss over time.
requirements-expected :
Proficiency in writing Regex and coding.
Understanding of forward slash (/) vs. backslash (-).
Hands-on experience with Azure pipelines and promoting Azure.
Strong knowledge and experience with SIEM solutions (3+ years).
Data savviness: Ability to analyze and extract insights from data.
Excellent communication and data visualization skills.
Data engineering experience: Familiarity with end-to-end data analytics and Azure pipelines.
Understanding of security logging in various formats and schemas.
Expertise in KQL, Regex, and Grok.
