We seek team members with extensive experience in process controls.The Process Controls Engineer will report to the Engineering Director of Infrastructure and Process Control. As part of a newly created capability within our Operations Transformation team, the selected individual will collaborate with various global capabilities to define gaps, solutions and standards that can be scaled to our global manufacturing locations. The position can be based out of Luxembourg , Poland (Katowice and Czestochowa area), Spain (Llodio and Tudela) or United Kingdom (Goole) - in close proximity to one of our plants.What You Will Do In Your RoleDrive standardization, proven practices, and common approaches across our Integrated Controls System assets. Close collaboration is expected with OT, IT, OpEx and Reliability EngineeringWork with the capabilities to help define WGLL for Guardian’s ICS. Develop plans to close gaps and define a (technology) roadmap into the future that aligns with our vision for the Factory-of-the-Future.Ensure the continuous improvement of our control systems that not only enables reliable and competitive manufacturing processes, but also provides effective data to support predictive maintenance strategies.Control system design audits to ensure maximum system uptime and fast breakdown recovery through redundancy or the availability of back-ups.Encourage knowledge sharing defining competences and training requirements for plant-based control engineers.Participate in the development of “next level” control systems that leverage feedback loops powered by expert systems or artificial intelligence.Clearly and professionally present and communicate ideas, concepts, and project plans at multiple levels25% project engineering work supporting those facilities that may not have the technical expertise to plan and execute projectsThe Experience You Will BringRequirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related engineering disciplineSenior experience working with automation processes in manufacturing environmentExperience with PLC programming, either Siemens or Rockwell (Allen Bradley)Experience with SCADA and HMI systemsExperience applying control components, robotics, and process networks What Will Put You AheadExperience with GE iFixExperience applying process networks and the Purdue modelExperience with deploying systems aligned with High Performance Graphics, ISA 101 and ISA 18.2IT/OT experience#LI-IB1 .
