Who We Are



ARA Curus is part of the Suez group of companies, specializing in the biogas and biomethane sector. We are growing quickly, involved in the full lifecycle of biogas plants from design to construction, operations, and maintenance. We plan to build 8 biogas plants within the next 24 months. We also cooperate with Suezs Polish branch office and the Suez International Engineering and Construction team based in Paris.



We are looking for a Construction Site Manager to manage the construction of one biogas plant in Poland, specifically dedicated to the plant in Wiadrów.



What You Will Be Doing



The position is based in Wiadrów, Lower Silesia, Poland. The office is located in Legnica, Lower Silesia, Poland.



The role includes the normal tasks of a construction site manager on a process plant. The Suez group has a particular focus on health and safety, and communicating and following health and safety procedures with all stakeholders will be a key part of the role. Additionally, dealing with international offices and technology partners while delivering projects in Poland will require dual language skills, including translating documents and meetings from Polish to English and vice versa.



Construction Site Manager Responsibilities

1. Organizing, planning, and supervising all construction tasks in accordance with legal regulations, internal procedures, and the requirements of the Client and Supervision.
2. Continuously monitoring the progress of work.
3. Coordinating the work of subcontractors, ensuring the efficient use of materials and equipment.
4. Supervising and controlling the construction budget, settling with subcontractors.
5. Preparing reports and cooperating with the Project Manager.
6. Supervising the preparation of subcontractor and acceptance documentation.
7. Performing the function of Construction Manager in accordance with the requirements of Article 22 of the Construction Law, including coordinating the implementation of health and safety tasks.
8. Maintaining construction documentation.
9. Participating in the acceptance of works, including the acceptance of works that are to be covered or disappearing, acceptance of milestones, and final acceptance.
10. Preparing as-built documentation of the construction object.

1. Secondary or higher technical education – specialization in General Construction.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the position of Construction Manager (experience in the construction of wastewater treatment plants, waste facilities, or biogas plants is a plus).
3. Construction license for managing construction works in structural and construction specialties.
4. Ability to efficiently organize work from technical, logistical, and economic perspectives.
5. Responsibility, problem-solving skills, and decision-making ability.
6. Category B driving license.

1. A fixed salary according to experience.
2. A fuel allowance as required for the construction site manager role.
3. Accommodation, travel, and subsistence expenses when required in accordance with the travel expenses policy of ARA.
