Why this role matters

This connectivity management role sits within the Vonage Carrier Management Team and is responsible for the strategic direction and coordination driving new API connectivity globally.

A newly created role with multiple stakeholders and expectations of quick market acceptance and growth, the successful candidate must have mastery of a range of leadership skills to drive the growth of advanced network APIs.

We seek to recruit an experienced Connectivity Project Manager (Global) to join the team. This person will ensure we develop a world-class team responsible for creating the best network connectivity and innovation to drive our customers’ success.

What youll do

1. Manage end-to-end Carrier on-boardings for SMS, Voice, and Numbers with CSPs Worldwide.
2. Liaise with account teams and carriers to ensure correct data is received.
3. Create and support on-boarding and prioritization principles for internal on-boarding flows.
4. Identify and drive systems and processes that enable Vonage to scale new connectivity with Carriers and Partners.
5. Prepare the materials and support QBRs with CSPs.
6. Work with Vonage Quality, Engineering, and Numbers teams to enhance services on-boarding practices and improve operating models.
7. Help with questions and queries related to product, process, or general technical issues resolution.
8. Escalate CSPs responses to engineering & quality teams.
9. Interpret and analyze Quality test results & raise quality test issues with carriers. Coordinate between Carriers and Engineering and quality teams.

What youll bring

1. Knowledge and experience of technical aspects of services worldwide for SMS, Voice, and Number services.
2. Highly evolved strategic mindset capable of driving new initiatives from ideation to execution.
3. Experience leading complex technical projects involving extended virtual teams.
4. Knowledge of the cloud communications industry (UCaaS/ CCaaS and/or APIs).
5. Experience working with engineering and quality management teams.
6. Extensive experience working directly with Carriers (CSPs) for technical on-boarding.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Fluent in English language skills.
