For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Cloud Engineer

The project focuses on designing and implementing high-availability cloud infrastructure for SAP workloads using Pacemaker clustering across RHEL and SLES environments. It involves multi-cloud integration (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud) and aims to ensure maximum uptime, scalability, and fault tolerance for mission-critical enterprise applications.
The project leverages a robust tech stack including Pacemaker for clustering, RHEL and SLES for operating systems, SAP S/4 HANA and HANA DB for enterprise workloads, and multi-cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and IBM Cloud to ensure high availability and scalability.

What will you do:1.Clustering & High Availability:

  • Design and implement Pacemaker clustering solutions across RHEL and SLES.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex clustering issues.
2.Hyperscaler Platforms:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain HA solutions in Azure, AWS, GCP, and IBM Cloud.
  • Integrate Pacemaker with cloud-native services for mission-critical applications.
3.Proof of Concept & Documentation:
  • Lead PoC initiatives for new clustering architectures.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment guides.
4.SAP Integration:
  • Implement and optimize clustering for SAP workloads (S/4 HANA, Netweaver, HANA).
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with Pacemaker.
5.Database Support (Optional):
  • Support DB2 and other databases in HA configurations.
  • Collaborate with DB teams to ensure performance and uptime.
6.Collaboration & Requirements Gathering:
  • Work with development and business teams to define infrastructure needs.
  • Participate in requirement analysis sessions to align HA solutions with SAP ECS needs.
7.Communication & Reporting:
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports.
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we expect from you:? Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and clustering technologies (Pacemaker) are a plus.
? Experience:
  • Several years of hands-on experience in clustering and high availability (HA) solutions, with a strong focus on Pacemaker.
  • Proven experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud).
  • Deep knowledge of Linux-based systems (RHEL, SLES), including system administration and performance tuning in clustered environments.
  • Experience with SAP systems (S/4 HANA, Netweaver, HANA) in HA setups.
? Technical Skills:
  • In-depth expertise in Pacemaker clustering (resource agents, fencing, quorum management).
  • Strong understanding of multi-cloud HA architecture and cloud-native services.
  • Familiarity with HANA and DB2 databases in clustered environments (optional).
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible is a plus.
? Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex HA environments.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in business English, both written and spoken.
