Overview

As Channel Sales Manager, you are responsible for driving sales within assigned channels to maximize revenue opportunities with channel partners. Reporting to the Country Business Leader, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Inside Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Supply Chain, Finance, and ALE central teams. Your mission is to win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned channel partners and to achieve sales targets through channel partner enablement and engagement at all levels, by leading key business initiatives and driving market share through ALE technology adoption in the partner landscape. You are responsible for partner engagement and business ownership by creating and maintaining sales opportunities and ensuring forecast accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.
  • Meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives in the defined partner accounts.
  • Develop and follow up on marketing and sales plans per channel.
  • Establish ongoing business partner training and certification plans to enable partners in selected Enterprise products and solutions.
  • Drive and maintain channel account plans for the defined Business Partners.
  • Address customer service issues as raised by the channel partner.
  • Drive new business enablement initiatives and pursue cross-selling opportunities within assigned channel partners.
  • Lead key opportunities and train channel partner resources on how to win with the ALE portfolio.
  • Manage forecasts and forecast accuracy on a weekly basis, updating prospects and opportunities in the Alcatel Lucent Enterprise forecasting tool regularly.
  • Experience in managing national-wide channel partners is appreciated.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience driving channel sales, ideally within the same product category and channel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with partners.
  • Driven, highly motivated, and passionate about sales.
